UV pool lamps
The use of UV lamps in swimming pool technology to a modern and safe way to get rid of microorganisms. Disinfection of pool water with UV rays, with the appropriate selection of lamps, reduces the amount of dosed chlorine by up to 80%, while effectively destroying bacteria. The use of lamps improves water quality, while reducing allergic reactions of users from a minimum. Ultraviolet eliminates the characteristic smell of chlorine in the air and oxidizes chloramines. Thanks to their use, water clarity is noticeably improved. Their increasing use and popularity means that more pool facilities are switching completely from ozonation of water, which is not as efficient, to ultraviolet. This trend can be seen in highly developed countries, such as our German neighbors. There are small lamps (one, two-burner), for private facilities, as well as large lamps (e.g., 6-burner) for large public pools.
