Specifics of heating a garden pool
While heating indoor pools, i.e. those in buildings, is straightforward because they have constant conditions, garden pools have their own peculiarities. It is much more difficult to heat a pool, which is influenced by many more factors. Air temperature, humidity, sunshine, wind strength - these are quite a few variables that strongly affect the water.
That's why heating an outdoor pool is more difficult. This does not mean that it is uneconomic or impossible. However, we can certainly speak of seasonality, as heating is simply not cost-effective in winter. If we want to heat a garden pool, we must first focus strongly on reducing heat loss. This is done in a simple way - it covers the pool. The water loses its temperature mainly through evaporation. The larger the water surface, the greater the area of temperature loss.
