Installation diagram:

The way a peristaltic pump works:

Fluid is drawn in through the inlet valve, by alternately crushing and relaxing the flexible hose with rollers moving around the perimeter, under pressure it pushes substances evenly into the entire pool pipe system.

Only the pump hose is in contact with the fluid. This excludes the risk of contamination of the fluid by the pump or vice versa.

This solution ensures that other pump components are not subjected to wear. The hose is in an easily accessible location, so replacing it is not the least bit difficult.

What is Redox?

This is an indicator that determines the level of disinfectant and pH in the water. By indicating the Redox value, the dosage of disinfectant can be adjusted accordingly.

Redox levels depend on several factors

The pH level in the water:
  • Low pH levels, increases Redox
    (this can lead to damage to your pool as well as its equipment);
  • High pH level, reduces Redox
    (results in unpleasant odours, irritation of the skin and mucous membranes, the appearance of scale deposits).
The level of disinfectant:
  • Low level of disinfectant, reduces Redox;
  • High level of disinfectant, lowers Redox.
