UV lamp with ozone treatment for swimming pools UV-C TECH 75W BLUE LAGOON

The original Blue Lagoon UV-C Tech 75W pool UV lamp with ozone treatment supports chlorine disinfection and enables the reduction of the amount of chemicals used.

• Lamp equipped with AOP system (advanced oxidation process) - it combines the advantages of ozone and UV-C radiation in one device
• The use of ozone together with UV-C light generates hydroxyl radicals (OH), these radicals are extremely effective in oxidising micropollutants in water and thus reducing organic and inorganic pollutants, as well as reducing chlorine disinfection by-products such as THM and chloramines.
• The UV-C system has been designed in such a way that all the ozone in the water is utilised by the advanced oxidation process, therefore, if all the recommended flow guidelines are followed no deozonator is needed
• The lamp is installed in the system behind the pool filter.
• For the disinfection process to be effective, the water should have a turbidity of no more than 15 mg/dm3.
• Excessive water turbidity reduces the effectiveness of the irradiation and frequent cleaning of the lamp surfaces is necessary. Effective flocculants must therefore be used.
• The germicidal process using UV lamps should be supported by dosing chlorine and adjusting the pH value in order to achieve the correct effect of improving water quality and extend the duration of the process.
• The advantages of using UV lamps are: very low purchase and running costs, reduction of up to 80% in chlorine dosage, effective destruction of bacteria, no problems with eyes or allergic reactions during bathing.
• Installation via a 50 mm, 63 mm or common 38 mm diameter hose - all adapters and necessary fittings are included in the scope of delivery
• 316L stainless steel housing resonates UV rays better inside the lamp than plastic housing
• Can be installed in pools with gently saline water (equipped with electrolysis to a salt concentration of 0.4 - 0.6 mg / l)
